Richard aka 2ND is a multi-talented recording artist, filmmaker and producer in a class of his own!. Originality and versatility is the main focus of his music and creativity. A former student at the renowned NEW YORK FILM ACADEMY, 2nd breaks ground with his very first feature documentary entitled:

"Where Was the Humanity & Compassion?"

Filmmakers Statement:

When my sister survived 911, I thought to myself, how blessed am I. I was then inspired and compelled to record a 911 tribute album, to help honor and remember all the victims and heroes that gave so much for so many on Americas Darkest day. In light of the August 29th 2005 Hurricane Katrina tragedy, and the most hurricanes which have hit the gulf coast regions. I yet again feel pain and cry yet another tear for all the countless number of innocent lives and homes lost. My mission is to do what I can to help bring relief to the families and victims in New Orleans, and all states along the gulf coast, and let them know that they have not been forgotten about.

I want to make it clear that this film is not my film, I want or deserve no credit or praise for its creation. The beautiful thing about the film is that months after Katrina struck, strangers from all walks of life who just wanted to help, volunteered their time, energy, money, footage and resources to complete it, and they asked for nothing back in return.


My goal is to raise not only money for so many in need, but also an awareness, of a people forgotten. My hope is that my film will inspire all Americans to stop, take a brief moment to step out of their comfort zone, and REMEMBER, New Orleans, and all those suffering across the gulf coast.

I urge you all to join me, to echo a cry out to the good people of the gulf coast and let them know that although their city, state and federal governments failed to meet their immediate needs, WE, the people with a heart of Humanity & Compassion do care, and We Will Not Forget About them.
